Everybody with us

Ain’t for us

Don’t waste space

Spectating

There’s medicine for you here too

White world

If you only knew you needed it

I’m gon’ heal loud and lovely

In your face

Get used to me

I aint going nowhere

All the quiet yourself Black girl

Is bleeding out

I am only problematic

When you part of the problem

I aint got no more apologies

Silence

Shrinkage

Be the enemy

Of every natural woman

Stretching out now

At home in this herstory

White folks ill at ease

We been here

Uncomfortable I mean

Words

Reparations

Revolution

Resist

Put a squirm in your spine

Similar to the way

Sirens make Black boys

Nervous

The sense that what happens next

Might cost you everything

Your blood money on the line

Like our lives

Bet

You feeling me

Now

SOUL 2 SOUL SISTERS

Soul 2 Soul Sisters is unique. They are one of the few organizations in the U.S.A. that unapologetically intersects Black faith/spiritualities, radical reproductive justice, increasing the power of Black voters, and reparations. Providing a Black Womxn-led, faith-based response to the anti-Black violence in the U.S., S2SS engaged groups of white interfaith participants in anti-racism programming called Facing Racism, as well as groups of Black Womxn in self-healing work. Please partner with. donate to and educate yourself with the multitude of resources provided on their website.

DEMAND ICE STOP USING DANGEROUS CHEMICALS

Sign. Speak Out. Share.

Currently, in detention centers around Adelanto, California, ICE is using a disinfectant chemical called HDQ neutral to help prevent COVID-19 from infiltrating. However, this chemical has been causing detainees extreme symptoms like their mouth and nose bleeding, pain and watering in eyes, and even fainting, headaches, and nausea.

TERENCE CRUTCHER FOUNDATION

#JUSTICE4CRUTCH

As a Tulsa native and friend of several members of the Crutcher family, his murder and the miscarriage of justice that continues is extremely personal for me. His brother Joey Crutcher, who passed away November of 2014 was my friend, the minister of music at a church I attended for years and created the first record label that I signed to. I still cherish all the laughs we had. Joey was hilarious and talented and gone too soon. His sister, Dr. Tiffany Crutcher is my friend. This family has endured more than I believe anyone should bear, with dignity, resilience, and a consistent commitment to fighting for the community they serve tirelessly.

Terrance Crutcher should still be alive. His murderer should not have a clear criminal record, a job, or be able to teach classes on how to get away with murder.

Terence Crutcher was shot and killed on September 16, 2016 by Officer Betty Shelby in Tulsa Oklahoma. He was unarmed and law enforcement was not called to the scene due to any misconduct from the victim. Officer Shelby admitted to being “afraid” of Terence Crutcher. Her perceived threat of Terence Crutcher resulted, moments later in his lifeless body lying on the street without aid. On May 17, 2017, Officer Shelby was found “not guilty” by a jury of her peers who admitted that the Officer was unfit to serve in law enforcement. On May 22, Officer Shelby returned to the Tulsa Police Department on desk duty and was awarded back pay for missed days of work. Her actions unearthed almost a century of racial tension in Tulsa and left 4 children without a father. His family is committed to ending the tragedies of police brutality and supporting families who have lost love ones to senseless gun violence.

The Terence Crutcher Foundation was founded by his parents Rev. Joey & Leanna Crutcher and his sister Dr. Tiffany Crutcher.

The mission of the Terence Crutcher Foundation is to engage the community, law enforcement, and policymakers in creating and sustaining an approach to prevent, identify and address issues of inequity pertaining to minority communities in Tulsa, Oklahoma and around the country.
